Published On: July 27, 2008

According to greencar.com, “The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently crash tested the 2008 smart for two and found it performed so well it earned the Institute’s best ratings for front and side crash protection. Plus, its rear crash worthiness was rated as “acceptable,” the Institute’s second-highest rating.” Read the complete IIHS report… Read More

In the United States, Flag Day (more formally, National Flag Day) is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened that day by resolution of the Second Continental Congress in 1777. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that officially established June 14 as Flag Day; in August 1949, National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress. Flag Day is not an official federal holiday, though on June 14, 1937 Pennsylvaniabe came the first (and only) U.S. state to celebrate Flag Day as a state holiday. Title 36 Sec. 110 of the US Code is the official statute on Flag Day, however it is at the President’s discretion to proclaim officially the observance.… Read More

In their article, it is reported that police say that Elisabeth looks more like her 67 year old mother’s sister than daughter. Her teeth are horrifically decayed, “After an emotional reunion last weekend, both sides of the family apart from Kerstin are all now living in a special, isolated room in a psychiatric unit near their home. “Doctors are said to have placed a cargo container outside so that Fritzl’s captives can retreat there if they feel too traumatised by daylight… Read More
