Smart Women Have A Good GPS

A great friend of mine, Joy Chudacoff of Smart Women, Smart Solutions, regularly publishes a newsletter geared toward life solutions for women. Joy is a Certified Professional Coach Her mission statement says it all:
Smart Women Smart Solutions is a full-service coaching and consulting firm devoted to enriching the lives of women who are making a difference — in their careers, in their homes, in the world.
She recently published an article entitled “Smart Women Have a Good GPS.” I’m a great fan of GPS (Global Positioning Systems) technology so I began reading her article.
Well, lo and behold, it had little to do with GPS Systems but everything to do with life! Here’s a snippet from her article but, really, I encourage you to click here to read the entire piece. It’s fascinating and, although geared toward women, it’s really a great gender-neutral life lesson.
…When was the last time you took a wrong turn; felt like you were going the wrong way? Today we have those fancy gadgets called GPS in our cars to keep us on course. You just plug in your final destination and away you go!
Wow, doesn’t that sound easy? Just plug in your desired destination and it will take you there. We will buy a car that has the fancy GPS to make sure that we never get lost. Unfortunately, at times in our life it appears that we have no idea where we are going. A very wise mentor once told me, “If you don’t know where you are going, guess what? You are already there.” So let me ask you: On your current journey, do you like what you see? I’m talking about living a life full of passion and purpose. Are you living each day with passion and purpose? Are you navigating your life to realize your dreams and goals? Is your internal GPS leading you to your desired destination?
Joy has inspired many women to take control of their lives and guide them through the modern quagmire of choices, problems and solutions through her caring and intense approach and dynamic, personable speaking style.
